Built in the 18th C as a coaching inn the Blue Lion has been updated to meet the needs of todays visitor yet still retains its original charm. With flagstone floors candlelit restaurant and open fires in every public room as well as a wonderful location in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and an excellent reputation for food the Blue Lion has much to offer. Directions to The Blue Lion
From the South: Leave the A1 at the Masham Thirsk exit. Follow the B6267 to Masham then the A6108 towards Leyburn for approximately 6 miles to East Witton.From the North. Leave the A1 at Bedale. Follow the A684 through Bedale and on to Leyburn.Then take the A6108 through Middleham to East Witton.
